From Health to Climate – Building Bridges for Global Action

Standing with Michel Sidibé, a global health leader and ex-UN executive, now serving the African Union, alongside voices like Nico & Vinz, one truth stood out to me: health, equity, and climate are not separate fights. They are connected struggles that shape how people live, survive, and thrive. The lesson is clear; real change depends on alliances that cross borders and endure beyond events or headlines.

That same message echoed this week in New York during the UN General Assembly and Climate Week. Commitments on paper are not enough. Progress only comes when promises are matched by action and turned into lasting partnerships. If we want to secure both human health and a stable planet, we cannot act alone. The future will be decided by the alliances strong enough to carry us forward, and turn ideas into actions.

“What we do now, and in the next few years, will profoundly affect the lives of unborn future generations. Let us act together, not tomorrow, not in speeches, but in deeds.”Antonio Guterres
